I found this paper pack a little challenging and so went hunting for photos.  We are not a camping family so had to put the thinking cap on.  Found these photos of one of our trips to Sydney when the children were small and then scoured through Pinterest for some inspiration and came across this wonderful layout. School Year- August Stamp of the Month

School Year - S1708

I looked at this stamp and thought what am I going to do with it, my children have finished school a number of years ago.  Then my grandchild suggested cards he can give to his friends at the end of the year and to new friends when he starts his new school next year, so I go thinking and creating.

Digging in some storage boxes I came across photos of one of my daughters' last day in Yr 12 at Iona College.  I had made the costumes for her group of friends, "The Little Miss Group", she was 'Little Miss Giggles'.  Those costumes nearly drove me crazy, trying to get them to stay fat and round.  Anyway all the girls were delighted with their costumes.

Prickly Pear Layout

This Prickly Pear (X7221B) paper pack is really interesting and when I looked at it, thought well I would not find much use for it but that was my mistake. April Stamp of the Month

Welcome to the 1st April, (April Fool's Day) and who got caught 'April Fool'.  So glad my children are all adults and sleep in late, so left the house before getting caught.  So being a newie,  this month I wasn't ready with a post for the SOTM but some other wonderful consultants have been busy.  Have a look at Shaunna and Doris' blogs, they have done such lovely work.

First Blog

Well, here I am launching my first blog.  I am a new consultant and very excited about joining Close to My Heart.  I have been scrapbooking for a number of years and finally decided to join this wonderful company. A couple of weeks ago I attended a Doris Taylor’s card workshop and made some beautiful cards.
